Roger Pontare (Sweden) about 2000 Eurovision Song Contest in Globen

Posted 14 May, 2016, 8:00

This year's Eurovision Song Contest is held in the Globe Arena in Stockholm. The young singer Frans will represent the host country with the song If I Were Sorry. Sixteen years ago, in 2000, the Globen hosted Europe's biggest TV show for the first time. At that time, Roger Pontare sung on homeground the entry When Spirits Are Calling My Name. According to the singer a lot of things have changed. As an experienced singer, who represented Sweden twice, we asked Roger Pontare to give advice to this year's contestants.
