San Marino is one of the smaller nations that competes at the Eurovision Song Contest with just over 30.000 inhabitants.
Having artists return to the Contest has become somewhat of a trademark for San Marino. Serhat represented the nation in both 2016 and 2019.
Senhit followed a similar path. She was San Marino’s second artist when she competed in 2011. Nine years later she was chosen again, this time with the song Freaky. Unfortunately, the Contest was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic but Senhit got another chance for Eurovision success. Her song Adrenalina, for which she invited American star Flo Rida to join her on stage, became one of the party anthems of 2021.
