Eurovision This Month: November 2018

Welcome to Eurovision this month. This is your update of November 2018!

Portuguese broadcaster RTP has won the Eyes & Ears Award for the Eurovision 2018 ‘All Aboard’ campaign!

The Eyes & Ears Awards are awarded to outstanding design, promotion & digital achievements. Congratulations RTP!

The 2018 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was won by Roksana Węgiel from Poland. Her song Anyone I Want Te Be got the most points from the online voting. Angélina from France came second. Jael from Australia ended up in third place. For the first time ever, Kazakhstan and Wales participated at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was the first time in the history of the contest that Poland managed to win the trophy.

42 countries will participate at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv next May. All 42 countries were also present in Lisbon earlier this year. Unfortunately, Bulgaria will not take part in the competition.

Soon the pre-selection season for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will flare up again. Who would you like to see representing your country? Let us know in the comments!
