Welcome to your monthly update for the Eurovision Song Contest where you get updated on everything that happened in this month. July 2016 In July, Ukraine announced the 6 cities that entered a bid to host the Eurovision Song Contest of 2017. After a presentation for the committee the amount of cities was reduced to three. Kyiv, Odessa and Dnipro are still in the race. The Eurovision Song Contest has been nominated for a Rose d'Or award in the entertainment category. The previous time the Eurovision Song Contest won a Rose d'Or award was in 2011.
