There is a little bit more than half-a-year left until the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and we can now reveal the participating countries. All 41 countries who were supposed to participate at the Contest last May will return in 2021!
Of the 41 nations taking part, 35 will compete in two Semi-Finals with 10 successful acts from each Semi-Final joining Big 5 countries France, Germany, Italy Spain and the United Kingdom as well as hosts The Netherlands in the Grand Final.
19 participants have already been announced. After the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the Contest, many broadcasters chose to send their participants again in 2021. The most recent addition to the line up is Daði og Gagnamagnið from Iceland. So far, no songs have been released.
Every year, some broadcasters chose their act internally, others will hold a televised national selection which you can follow in the upcoming months.
We hope you are as excited for the next Eurovision Song Contest as we are.
