Your backstage pass to Liverpool 2023

The three Live Shows are in your diary already (dates and details, should they not be). But leading up to the main events, and surrounding them, we've got more Eurovision Song Contest coverage planned for you than ever before. For our 67th edition, audiences are being invited to join us backstage, to get to know the Contest and its participants even better, across all of our official channels. 

YouTube: Be My Guest with Clara Amfo & Rylan

Brand new for Liverpool 2023 is our series Be My Guest, hosted by the iconic TV and radio presenters Rylan and Clara Amfo. The dynamic duo will be meeting all 37 of our participating artists, putting them through their paces and asking them the questions you've been submitting across our social media channels in the lead up to May.

Our effortlessly charming hosts will be helping us all get acquainted with our Class of '23 much more, and they'll also be asking the acts some of the fan questions that you've submitted to us through social media. On top of this, Rylan and Clara will also be finding the time to have a little bit of fun with our artists, too...

Be My Guest episodes will be released on our YouTube channel from Thursday 4 May.

TikTok: First Rehearsals 

But what of our participants' time on the Eurovision Song Contest stage? Well, you won't have to wait until the Semi-Finals or the Grand Final to see how well your fave is doing what they do best! 

The very first rehearsals for our artists kick off on Sunday 30 April. And on the very same day as each act steps out onto the stage for the first time, we'll be bringing you exclusive footage.

Over on the Eurovision Song Contest TikTok channel, we'll be posting not just short clips from their performances, but also a little glimpse into how they're doing backstage, before they get to perform at Liverpool Arena for the very first time.

YouTube: Rehearsal Roundup

For those of you who want to see a preview of what the full staging and camera angles look like, well... you'll have to wait a little longer. We'll be sharing 30-second 'as-seen-on-TV' preview clips of each performance after the second rehearsals, starting from Wednesday 3 May. These rehearsal previews will be shared on our YouTube channel during a compilation show each evening. 

TikTok: Tea with Timur

Also on TikTok, we're sharing with you all some Tea with Timur. Beloved Ukrainian presenter Timur Miroshnychenko will be meeting each of our 37 artists directly after their second rehearsals. The Eurovision commentator will be inviting our artists to spill some of the gossip from their first few days on the ground in Liverpool... and we're expecting some of that tea to be piping hot!

Germany, Spain, Italy, France will also use this as an opportunity to draw which half of the Running Order they will appear in.

Tea with Timur clips are going out on our TikTok channel from Wednesday 3 May through to Saturday 6 May. Full times are below, but as they are live, are subject to change.

Official Eurovision Song Contest Podcast

For a behind-the-scenes view into what's going on inside Liverpool Arena, our podcast host Steve Holden will be bringing us new episodes of the official Eurovision Song Contest podcast throughout the two weeks our Host City is having us over. 

Steve will be on-the-ground on an access-all-areas basis, speaking to our participants as they decompress backstage, and also giving us an inimitable insight into what's going on in that delegation bubble. Steve also has a special episode or two planned for us, and will be speaking to some of the artists after the live shows too, to get their reactions on the results.

Eurovision.tv: Live Blog

For a comprehensive guide to what's going on at all times, our Live Blog launches this Sunday 30 April at 10:30 CEST to coincide with the first round of rehearsals.

To make sure you don’t miss a single sequin or ‘Speorg note’, Eurovision.tv will run a Live Blog from the Liverpool Arena between the first rehearsal and the Grand Final Press Conference, covering all the rehearsals, key press conferences and Live Shows. We’ll be first with exclusives on and reactions to the rehearsals as they happen, along with backstage antics, behind the scenes content and any breaking news – so keep our Live Blog open in a browser tab to ensure you don't miss out on any of the action.

We've also got some special content coming out across our social media channels: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook. From seeing how our Class of '23 get to grips with the local accent, to watching them attempt some karaoke high notes, our social media channels are where you'll not only be able to watch our artists have the best time while they're in Liverpool, but where you'll also find up-to-the-minute updates and news on the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.

Each of the rehearsals and all of the major goings-on inside Liverpool Arena will be captured on camera. Head to our Galleries page for daily uploads of new images. From the Turquoise Carpet at the Opening Ceremony, to every time your favourite act takes to the stage, we'll be shooting all of it so that you can see it all in bright pink, yellow and blue.

Also, for the first time, the Marcel Bezençon Awards (hosted by Christer Björkman) will be live streamed before the Grand Final on our YouTube channel, and the draws for the First and Second Half of the Grand Final will take place on TikTok before the live streamed Qualifiers Press Conferences hit YouTube.
