Xəyyam Mustafazadə third act to qualify in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan's national selection concluded when Xəyyam Mustafazadə beat eight other candidates to progress to the semi-final of the competition. 

Over 5 days the artists were put through their paces, singing a variety of songs with a new theme every day. One of the themes was to sing songs from the Eurovision Song Contest. Xəyyam impressed with his rendition of Serbia's 2007 winning entry Molitva.

Xəyyam will now join Orxan Kərimli and Məryam Kərimova in the semi-final. 

Whoever wins the national selection will have the right to represent Azerbaijan at the 2012 edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show in Baku on the 26th of May.
