Wrap-up: Sweet performance for Cyprus

Who is Christina Metaxa?

Cyprus' entrant this year was Christina Metaxa who performed a song written by her older brother. She was one of the youngest performers this year but did everything possible to show the world 'teenagers have the strength to set targets and follow their inner light'.

"A very nice song and very nice voice! And Christina is so sweet!" a fan from Bosnia and Herzegovina said. A Greek fan thought: "I didn't like this song when I first heard it, but after the second and third time, it became one of my favourites. Its melody and music are special and the message the song wants to communicate is a hopeful one."

Christina's gentle and sweet performance earned her a total of 32 points and the fourteenth place in the second Semi-Final of this year's Europe's favourite TV-show but did not qualify for the Final.
