Anastasia Prikhodko - Mamo (Russia 2009)

Who is Anastasia Prikhodko?

A kind, smart and friendly girl from Kiev, Anastasia has an interesting and rare deep voice. She has graduated from a music academy, the department of folk vocals. She sings quite unordinary songs in minor and folk songs in both Russian and Ukrainian. Did you know she was already earning money when she was 15? Or that her hobbies include playing chess, horse-riding and fashion?Or that she also blogged at EurovisionFamily.tv/Russia about her way to the Final of Europe's favourite TV-show?

"Amazing song, I love it. Bonne chance pour la Russie!" a Belgian fan commented.  "It is a wonderful song which without a doubt takes a good place," was a Russian fan sure. Anastasia earned the eleventh place having a mystical image of her growing older and singing the song on the screens. The emotional performance earned a strong applause from the audience and 91 points all over Europe.
