Wrap-up: Finland brought back the 90s

Who is Waldo?

Waldo has been one of the leading dance artists and producers in Finland for over a decade already. Classic euro-pop, which he has represented throughout years has brought him four gold albums as a solo artist and foreman of Waldo’s People. Waldo, aka Marko Reijonen, has written many of his hit songs together with Finnish-born, Swedish producer Ari Lehtonen. The current radio hit Lose Control is also written by the duo, whose fruitful co-operation has lasted over ten years.

"One of my favorites! Amazing song with a very nice rythm!" a comment from an excited fan said. A Finnish fan added:"Europe will totally 'Lose Control'! The 21th Century of Dance Music must begin right after this!"

Finland qualified for the Final due to the juries as the only wildcard from the first Semi-Final. Eventually they got 22 points and finished 25th in the Final. The second jury wildcard was given to Croatia.
