26 June 2009 at 05:11 CEST

Who is Krassimir Avramov?

At the 2005 Los Angeles Music Awards, Krassimir received an honor previously bestowed upon such music notables as Gwen Stefani, Korn and Black-Eyed Peas: he won Superstar of the Year for his 2005 album Popera. Krassimir celebrated with a standing-room solo concert at Hollywood’s home of the Oscars, the prestigious Kodak Theatre. The audience gathered at the venue witnessed his bending and blending of musical genres – a synergy of classical and pop music called “popera.”

"One of the best songs!" a fan from Croatia expressed her opinion. Another fan added:"Krassimir is the winner! Best voice, best song, best stage production, he has it all."

Krassimir gathered seven points and this gave him the sixteenth place in the first Semi-Final of the 54th edition of Europe's favourite TV-show. Thus, he did not qualify for the Final with his song Illusion.
