Wrap-up: Andorra with world-famous star

25 June 2009 at 06:33 CEST

Who is Susanne Georgi?

Susanne Georgi was born in Denmark but has lived in Andorra for the last 13 years. She is part of the pop-duo ME & MY who achieved an international breakthrough with their song Dub I Dub. It turned out to be one of the 1990's inescapable hits and marked the start of a pop-music adventure for Susanne and her sister Pernille Georgi.

"This is my favorite song of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, it has to get to the Final, and then top ten that will be so great for Andorra and Susanne!" a fan from Denmark expressed his opinion. An Australian fan said:"This song sounds like it's straight from a Disney movie - will certainly appeal and do very well in the finals! Good luck to Andorra!"

Susanne placed fifteenth in the first Semi-Final and didn't qualify for the Final, unfortunately.

How did it all start?

Now in Moscow...

Andorra is one of the countries that hasn't qualified for the Final since the introduction of the Semi-Finals. They were close to it in 2007 in Helsinki when they achieved the twelfth place with Salvem El Món by Anonymous.

How will their national selection look in 2010? How will they do in Oslo? Find all of that out right here at!
