Will Lena beat Britney Spears?

Lena already bagged the Best German Act at the MTV European Music Awards but then it was also announced she has been selected to be the European representative at the MTV Worldwide Act award.

She will now go against Britney Spears, who represents North America, Restart (Latin America), BIGBANG (Asia Pacific) and Abdelfattah Grini (Africa/India/Middle East).

You can vote for her on the MTV European Music Awards voting page.

Voting for the award goes until the 4th of November, and the winner will be revealed at the European Music Awards ceremony on the 6th of November in Belfast.

Lena has become a pan-European phenomenon after becoming a star overnight when she won the right to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 and then won the contest with her number one hit Satellite. 

In 2011, when the contest was held in Düsseldorf, she was back to defend her title and finished 10th with the song Taken By A Stranger.
