The Greek broadcaster ERT revealed the date of their national final will be 18th of February. As announced already in summer, Sakis Rouvas will be representing the country in Moscow.

Ukraine published the fact they will have two semi-finals, on the 7th and 8th of February and the provisional date for the final - 1s of March - has also been set. Both of the semi-finals will be recorded and aired as a TV-documentary. A total of 63 entries have been submitted to the broadcaster NTU.

DR, the Danish broadcaster, revealed changes in their selection. This time all the songs will be published before the final on the internet, radio and also on the offical CD.

The winner will end up being on stage three times in total. All 10 participants will perform in the first round where a jury and televoters will choose 4 semi-finalists which will be divided in two semi-final stages. From each of those stages televoters will choose one entry to go to the super final. And then the two lucky ones will have a chance to prove why should they represent Denmark in Moscow.

The Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009 will take place in Herning on 31st of January.
