On Monday it was revealed that Dima Bilan, Laka and Shiri Maimon each won an MTV Award of the best regional act in Russia, the Balcans and Israel, respectively. Thus, now they will compete for the prize of Europe's Favourite Act at the MTV European Music Awards. You can vote for them here!

Big changes were introduced in the Estonian national selection which will once again be opened for all artists, will change its name and become a month-long event. Their neighbour Sweden revealed the 28 chosen songs for their Melodifestivalen show on the same day.

The Balcan countries Croatia and Albania set their dates for their national selections to December and late February. Bulgaria held its third quarter-finals and thus more semi-finalists were chosen.

The biggest news probably came from the UK where the famous musicals composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber took the stage and asked the public of the UK to help to find a performer for his Eurovision Song Contest song!

As for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the final starting list was put into place. You can find it and much more at JuniorEurovision.tv.
