Welcome party at Malmö Opera

The Red Carpet event and Opening ceremony was streamed on the big screens outside the Opera house and in the cinema at the EuroClub. But for all the Eurovision fans across Europe who couldn’t attend this event, eurovision.tv and svt.se/eurovision offered LIVE stream too. You can watch the Opening ceremony again here!

We Are One

All artists who are taking part in this year's Europe's Favourite TV show met each other for the first time that night. However, beside the opportunity to meet other contestants, guests from 39 countries had a chance to enjoy special programe organised by SVT and city of Malmö. The Opening ceremony hosts were Pernilla Månsson Colt and Kodjo Akolor.

Eurovision "euophoria" continues

The Opening ceremony started with the instrumental version of the Eurovision's winning song from 2012, Loreen's Euphoria, performed by orchestra.

Guests were welcomed by city major Kent Andersson, representative of region Skåne Pia Kinhult, but also by the executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand and the executive producer of this year's show Martin Österdahl.
