Wednesday Weekly (24/1/18): Which national selections are coming up?
24 January 2018 at 10:27 CETThe third weekend of January saw national selection heats take place in Romania, Lithuania and Hungary. The second semi-final in France completed the line up for the live national selection which takes place on Saturday 27th January.
Results so far
Lithuania
The following acts qualified from the second heat of the Lithuanian national selection:
- Saules Kliošas - Man Gaila
- Twosome - Hello

- Elizabeth Olshey - Bejausmis
- Juozas Martin - Don't Give Up
- Audrius Petrauskas - In My Bones
Romania
The following three songs were selected for the final in Romania:
- Eduard Santha - Mesom Romales
- Echoes - Mirror
- Alexia & Matei - Walking On Water
Hungary
The first live show of A Dal 2018 saw the following acts qualify for the semi-final:
- Leander Kills - Nem szól harang
- Zsolt Sule - Zöld a május
- Viktor Kiraly - Budapest Girl
- Ceasefire X - Satellites
- Gabi Knoll - Nobody To Die For
- Tamas Vastag - Ne hagyj reményt
What's coming up?
Saturday
In Hungary the second selection show of A Dal 2018 will take place and in Lithuania, six more qualifiers will proceed to the final when the third selection heat takes place. The final of Destination Eurovision, the French national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will also be broadcast live from Paris.
The participants hoping to represent France in Lisbon are:

Sunday
The second semi-final of the Romanian national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, Selecția Națională, will take place in the city of Timişoara.
Monday
The Semi-Final Allocation Draw will also take place in Lisbon at 13:00 CET and you can watch the ceremony live on YouTube.
Six acts will battle it out for the chance to represent Spain in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. The final of Operación Triunfo will be broadcast on Monday 29th January at 22:30 CET.
