Wednesday Weekly (14/02/18): Feeling the heat from the national heats?
14 February 2018 at 19:00 CETOver the weekend national selection heats took place in heats in Estonia, Hungary, Iceland (see photo below), Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, San Marino and Sweden!
Denmark and Italy chose for Lisbon and only yesterday Israel's artist for Eurovision 2018 was selected. Eye Cue was announced as the Macedonian act for 2018 and Croatia revealed that Franka Batelić will fly the Croatian flag in May.
What's coming up?
Belarus
The Belarusian national selection will take place on Friday 16th February and will see 11 acts battle it out for the right to represent the county in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will decided by a combination of public jury votes. Here are the finalists:

- Shuma - Chmarki
- NAPOLI - Chasing Rushes
- Anastasiya Malashkevich - World on Fire
- Gunesh - I Won't Cry
- Radiovolna - Subway Lines

Montenegro
Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG has opted for a national final to select its entry for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. The five acts that will participate in Montevizija 2018 and compete for the right to represent Montenegro in Lisbon are:
- Lorena Janković - Dušu mi daj
- Nina Petković - Dišem
- Vanja Radovanović - Inje
- Ivana Popović Martinović - Poljupci
- Katarina Bogićević - Neželjena
The winner of Montevizija 2018 will be decided solely through public votes.
Slovenia
The first show in the Slovenian national selection takes place this weekend. The following acts will participate:
