Watch Tonight: Hungary to choose entry for Baku

11 February 2012 at 03:19 CET

Tonight, the final of the Hungarian national selection will be held in Budapest. Eight acts will compete for the ticket to Baku.

There will be two rounds of voting: first, the televoters will choose the four best acts to go forward to the super-final. Then, the jury will pick the winner out of the remaining singers.

Previously, two national semi-finals have taken place, and in each of them, three finalists have been chosen by an expert jury and one more by televoting. This is the line-up of tonight's show:

  • Gyurcsik Tibor - Back In Place
  • Fábián Juli & Zoohacker - Like A Child
  • The Kiraly's - Untried
  • Veres Mónika - This Love
  • Heincz Gábor - Learning To Let Go
  • Compact Disco - Sound Of Our Hearts
  • Tóth Gabi - Nem Kell Végszó
  • Caramel - Vízió

The jury will, again, comprise Jenő Csiszár, radio and tv presenter, Philip Rákay, programme director of m1, Viktor Rakonczai, composer and former Eurovision Song Contest participant, and Kati Wolf, the Hungarian representative in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.

You will be able to watch the Hungarian final live on our ESCTV Player at 20:15 CET. Apart from that, the show will of course be broadcast on TV too, both on m1 and via satellite on Duna World.
