Watch tonight: Germany to select song for Malmö!

After finding their two most recent and very successful Eurovision representatives through talent shows, Germany is heading a different way this year: Mostly popular and experienced artists have been invited to try their luck in the German selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Unser Song für Malmö, which will be broadcast live from the TUI Arena in Hanover tonight at 20:15 CET.

This is the line-up of tonight's show:

  3. Mobilée - Little Sister
  4. Blitzkids mvt. - Heart On The Line
  5. Betty Dittrich - Lalala
  6. Ben Ivory - The Righteous Ones
  7. Saint Lu - Craving
  8. LaBrassBanda - Nackert
  9. Nica & Joe - Elevated
  10. Mia Diekow - Lieblingslied
  11. Söhne Mannheims - One Love
  12. Cascada - Glorious

Tonight, the voting will consist of three parts, which are equally weighted. One part will be the opinion of the TV public, who can participate in the televoting. Added to that are the votes of an expert jury, consisting of Tim Bendzko (pop singer), Roman Lob (German 2012 Eurovision representative), Anna Loos (pop singer), Mary Roos (schlager singer) and Peter Urban (radio host and German Eurovision commentator).

The third part of the voting will be the verdict of the radio listeners, who have already been voting on the songs for one week, while the "young" radio channels Bayern 3, Bremen Vier, 1LIVE (WDR), Fritz (RBB), HR 3, MDR Jump, NDR 2, SR 1 Europawelle, SWR3 have put all twelve songs on heavy rotation. Of course, one more reason to watch Unser Song für Malmo is Anke Engelke - the presenter of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest will be back on stage tonight in Hanover. So, be sure not to miss the show! It will be broadcast live on ARD/Das Erste, and you can also watch it in our webcast on Eurovision.tv.
