Watch today: "Expert check" in Switzerland

Today Switzerland will get one step closer to choosing the entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest: The 19 remaining acts will perform in front of an expert commission, who will then pick the six acts to go to the national final, on February 13th. You can watch the expert check live on the SRF website from 13:00 to approximately 22:00 CET today.

In November, the first stage of the Swiss national selection for Stockholm concluded, and the 19 acts that qualified for the second stage were announced. Today these 19 acts will perform live in front of an expert team who will choose the six best ones, judging their live abilities, singing qualities and stage presence. You will be able to watch the selection live on the SRF website today between 13:00 CET and 22:00 CET.

Here is the list of the competing acts: 

SRF and RTR (Swiss-German and Rumantsch broadcasters)

Out of the following ten candidates, three will go to the final:

  • Erica Arnold - Ich bin ich
  • Vincent Gross - Half A Smile
  • Samuel Tobias Klauser - Asking Me Why
  • Maika - The Reason
  • Stanley Miller - Feel The Love
  • Platzhirsch - Holz vor dr Hütta
  • Rykka - The Last Of Our Kind
  • Patric Scott feat. Abdullah Alhussainy - No Boundaries
  • Sunanda - Ooops!?!
  • Evelyn Zangger - Have A Little Faith In Me

RTS (Swiss-French broadcaster)

Out of the following six candidates, two will go to the final:

  • Bella C - Another World
  • Kaceo - Disque d’or
  • Stéphanie Palazzo - Perché mi guardi cosi?
  • Stéphanie Sandoz - Flashback
  • Loic Schumacher - Génération demain
  • Gina von Glasow - Left With An Idiot

RSI (Swiss-Italian broadcaster)

Out of the following three candidates, one will go to the final:

  • Nathalie Cadlini - Share Love
  • Elias - Elephant
  • Theo - Because Of You
