Gordon, Rene Froger and Jeroen van der Boom, better known as The Toppers, picked six songs out of 300 to perform in the Dutch national selection show. In the end the jury and televoters decided on Shine. The trio has been selected internally to represent the Netherlands at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

The French superstar performs her entry Et S'Il Fallait Le Faire live on Belgian TV. She was chosen to represent her homeland by the French broadcaster and the decision was revealed in late January. The song was presented on the 9th of February in a special show. You can see the breathtaking entry below:
The Netherlands will participate in the Semi-Final of this year's contest, whilst France has already qualified for the Final.
