The City of Turin has announced that it is seeking locals to volunteers at activities and events around PalaOlimpico, Piazza Castello and the rest of the city, when the Eurovision Song Contest comes to town in May.
Volunteers are required for different responsibilities and at different times between Friday 1 April and Friday 20 May 2022, and must be available for training currently scheduled for the end of February.
General assistants in public areas
Tourist office, press room and delegation area assistants
Transport and accreditation assistants
Designated delegation assistants (English language is required)
Volunteers will be provided with a uniform, public transport tickets, and meal vouchers, but there is no accommodation for volunteers not resident in Turin.
In total, around 600 people are required. All volunteers will have to meet the standards set by the City of Turin as explained on their website, where you can also read a full list of volunteering opportunities and requirements.
Volunteering at the Eurovision Song Contest is organised by the Events Area of the City of Turin in collaboration with the City of Turin Youth and Equal Opportunities Area Youth Volunteer Office.
