A total of 455 songs are up for auditions on RTVE's website. The most popular genre is the pop / rock category with almost 200 songs, the least popular one is flamenco with 10 songs.
To make the voting fairer, each person can vote up to 20 times per day and 5 times per candidate, the broadcaster TVE announced.
The 50 semi-finalists will be revealed on the 18th of January. There will be there semi-finals to be held in February, the dates are yet to be set and confirmed.
