Vesna will represent the Czech Republic in Liverpool
‘Vesna’ will represent Czechia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool following their win at ESCz 2023 with the song ‘My Sister’s Crown’.

They saw off competition from:

  • Maella
  • Markéta Irglová
  • Pam Rabbit
  • RODAN

The winner was decided purely by public vote (70% weighting given to international audiences and 30% Czech audiences), making the first time in 15 years that Czechia used a live show to determine their Eurovision Song Contest participant.

Vesna is led by singer-songwriter Patricie Fuxova, and so far the band has released two albums, including duets with Vojta Dyk and František Černý (Čechomor). In 2019, they received a nomination for the Anděl Awards and were chosen as a support act by the iconic Scandinavian singer Aurora.

Vesna's music uses elements of folklore set to modern pop, creating their characteristic combination of dreamy and lively music on stage.
