16 March 2015 at 12:09 CET

The Heads of Delegations are the people in charge for Europe’s favourite TV show in each respective country. From Sunday to Tuesday they have gathered in Vienna to hear the latest updates from the contest and to officially submit their entries.

This means that all the entries will also be officially presented right here on Eurovision.tv on the artist profiles. So it is worth checking them for new additions these days.

Today, the Heads of Delegations have visited the venue - Wiener Stadthalle - for the first time, as well as the Euroclub at Ottakringer Brauerei.

The preliminary dates for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest have been announced now too: The two Semi-Finals will take place on May 10 and 12, and the Grand Final on May 14, 2016.

In the afternoon the starting position of Austria in the Grand Final of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest was drawn - they will perform 14th.

Another important event to take place was the Eurovision Song Contest Reference Group election. Aleksander Radic (RTVSLO, Slovenia), Emilie Sickinghe (AVROTROS, The Netherlands), and Nicola Caligiore (RAI, Italy) have been elected for the next two-year term.

The official Opening Reception with the traditional "Red Carpet Ceremony" will take place on Sunday May 17 at the Rathausplatz in Vienna. Eurovision Village will be situated just next to it, and it will open on Monday May 18.

It has also been announced that, in the beginning of the Grand Final the competing artists will enter the arena via a "magic bridge" of light.

Yesterday, the entries from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Albania have been premiered, as well as the official video clips of the Czech Republic, Finland, and Spain.

We can now also confirm that the Serbian entry will be performed completely in English on stage in Vienna - here is the official video:
