[UPD] Austria: AzRaH gets wildcard

Three days ago we've presented nine out of ten acts that had already been chosen for the Austrian national final for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. The tenth act has now been chosen through a Facebook voting: It's AzRaH!

The following acts were still in the running to get a wildcard for the Austrian final, to be held on February 12th:
  • Laura Kamhuber - Stay Tonight
  • Ola Egbowon - Addicted
  • AzRaH - The One
  • Sara Koell - Closer To The Sun
  • David Siedl feat. Madelene & Mc Vio - Wah Wah Whine
Now the Facebook users have decided that AzRaH will get the honour of joining the Austrian final line-up.
Voting started at 9:00 CET yesterday and finished today at 9:00 am CET. The voting took place on the official Austrian Eurovision Facebook site, where you can also listen to the five songs:

The following acts have already been chosen to participate in the Austrian final:
  • Bella Wagner
  • Elly
  • Farina Miss & Céline Roscheck
  • Lia Weller
  • LiZZA
  • Orry Jackson
  • Sankil Jones
  • Vincent Bueno
  • ZOË
The show will be broadcast live on February 12th at 20:15 CET. The presenters will be Andi Knoll, Austria's well-known Eurovision commentator, and Alice Tumler, one of the hosts of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The decision who will fly the Austrian flag in Stockholm will be taken jointly by an expert jury and televoting.
