United Kingdom entry to be revealed on 7th March

24 February 2015 at 13:00 CET

Last year the BBC selected their entry via their BBC Introducing scheme, which brings together unsigned and undiscovered music talent. This resulted in Molly Smitten-Downes being chosen, with the song Children Of the Universe which achieved 17th place in the Grand Final.

Open Submission for 2015

For 2015 the BBC announced back in October that  they were looking at additional options, including an open submission for entries. Potential artists and composers had until the 7th November to submit videos.

Producer Guy Freeman has said that “Ultimately, one song stood out as having both instant impact and real memory staying power”

Now, after months of speculation, we will soon know the United Kingdom entry for 2015.

In the meantime let's look back to the 2014 United Kingdom entry from Molly Smitten-Downes - Children Of The Universe

Make sure you are watching Eurovision.tv on Saturday the 7th March when we will have all the details of the United Kingdom entry, and the video of the song.
