At the Heads of Delegation meeting in Liverpool Oksana Skybinska from UA:PBC (Ukraine) and the BBC's Adam Wydrzynski (United Kingdom) tossed a coin to decide who would pick for the other delegation first.

Oksana won the coin toss (choosing 'heads') and decided she would draw the United Kingdom's starting position first - she drew 26th for Mae Muller. It was then Adam's chance to randomly draw Ukraine's position - he drew 19th for TVORCHI.

The draw was overseen by Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, Martin ร–sterdahl, during the meeting in Liverpool on Monday 13 March.

As the winner of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, Ukraine automatically qualifies to the Grand Final in 2023; they will be represented by TVORCHI and the song Heart of Steel.

As Hosts on behalf of Ukraine, the United Kingdom also had its position in the Grand Final running order drawn at the Head of Delegation meeting. Mae Muller will be representing the United Kingdom in Liverpool with I Wrote A Song, performing 26th during the show.

The full running order of the Grand Final, as well as the running orders of the First and Second Semi-Finals, will be determined at a later date.
