Trijntje Oosterhuis to represent The Netherlands?

She is a huge star in The Netherlands, and now she is the subject of one of the greatest rumours of the year. Will she or won't she represent her country at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May?

To put the proverbial cherry on the cake, the lady tipped to pen Trijntje's Eurovision song is none other than Anouk who achieved a very respectable 9th place in Malmö in 2013 with the song Birds. 

Trijntje has had massive success on home turf with songs like De Zee and if rumours are correct she hopes to capture the hearts of an international audience by appearing on Europe's most loved TV show. 

According to social media the rumours are very credible. Dutch broadcaster NOS published this tweet earlier this evening: 

Trijntje and Anouk's own social media pages do not, however, mention anything about whether or not these rumours are true.
