Tonight: Who wins the Skopje Festival?

The show will take place at the Metropolis Arena in Skopje, with some bright guests like Karolina Goceva and Kaliopi. The winner will be chosen by a join decision (50/50) of an expert jury and televoting. Don't miss the show on the official homepage of MRT!

Names known in the Eurovision Song Contest

Tamara Todeska, tried her luck in the national selection in 2007, but came second. In the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, she represented F.Y.R. Macedonia in Serbia together with Vrčak and Adrijan. The trio sang their up-tempo Let Me Love You in the Second Semi-Final but unfortunately didn’t reach the Grand Final. Last year, Tamara supported her oldest sister Tijana Dapčević in Copenhagen as a backing vocalist.
Viktorija Loba represented Macedonia at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a part of the duo Marija & Viktorija.This year, the singer performs Edna Edinstvena.
Vlatko Ilievski represented F.Y.R. Macedonia in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Rusinka. The co-writer of Rusinka, Vladimir Dojcinovski, is also trying his luck with a new song Sever-Jug that he composed for Risto Samardziev & Vlatko Ilievski.
Some other names of F.Y.R. Macedonian composers and writers are also known for the Eurovision public. Jovan Jovanov’s songs represented F.Y.R. Macedonia in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest (Life) and in the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (Ding Ding Dong). Furthermore, he arranged Vlatko Ilievski's song Rusinka for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Jovan Jovanov wrote music for Edna Edinstvena sung by Viktorija Loba.
Lazar Cvetkoski who co-composed the song Pred Da Se Razdeni for Esma&Lozano in 2013 and Tijana’s song To The Sky in 2014, has composed Se Shto Ti Vetiv for Dimitar Andonovski this year.
Grigor Koprov composed Ne Zori Zoro for Vlado Janevski who represented F.Y.R. Macedonia in 1998 Eurovision Song Contest. He also wrote the song Mojot Svet which was a F.Y.R. Macedonian entry performed by Karolina Gočeva at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. This year, he composed Da Ne Te Sakam for Evgenija Cancalova.
Vlado Janevski was the first Eurovision contestant from F.Y.R. Macedonia at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Ne Zori, Zoro. This year, he wrote Ni Lj Od Ljubovta for Joce Panov.
