The Lithuanian selection process

Eurovizija 2008 was made up by three semi-finals in which 34 songs have been competing to reach the final. In each semi-final, four songs have been sent directly to the final by televoting. The two remaining songs of the final were selected even before the sem-finals took place through so-called wildcards. These wildcards with directly access to the final were decided to be Aistė Pilvelytė and last year's Lithuanian Eurovision Song Contest representative Julija (4FUN).
