The ceremony, which is expected to happen under large media attention, will take place at the GUM shopping mall in central Moscow and starts at 15:00 local time. The event will be followed by a 30-minute press conference, during which journalists have the opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, the experience of the city of Belgrade and the expectations of the Russian capital Moscow.
It is rumoured that one or more former Russian Eurovision Song Contest contestants will attend the ceremony.
