Tomorrow: Listen to the entry from France!

28 January 2012 at 21:45 CET

Cannes will be a Eurovision city tomorrow again after it hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1959 and 1961. The French Riviera spot hosts annually the world's largest music industry trade fair, the MIDEM in the same Eurovision venue, the Palais des Festivals.

And MIDEM will be the place to unveil the French entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 performed by Anggun. At about 15:30 CET a press conference with Anggun will take place where the song Echo (You And I) will have its world première. But don't panic if you're not attending the event: Eurovision.tv and the French broadcaster website will give you the exclusive opportunity to listen to the song only minutes later.

Echo (You And I) is written by Anggun herself and composed by William Rousseau and Jean-Pierre Pilot, who currently penned the #1 selling single in France Ça Ira Mon Amour. The mix of the song is provided by Veronica Ferraro, recognised for her work with David Guetta.

After this, Anggun will be ready to start a promotional tour who will take her to over 15 countries in February, travelling all over Europe from Portugal to Sweden. A great preparation for her performance in Baku for the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 26th of May.

Don't forget to visit Eurovision.tv tomorrow around 16:00 CET to listen to the French song!
