Tijana Bogićević will fly the flag for Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest this year with the song 'In Too Deep' which was written by an international team.

Tijana's breakthrough came in 2010 with her song Tražim (Searching) which became a big hit in her home country. She later became a backing singer, performing with several artists as well as working with her own band which has become one of the most popular on the club scene in Serbia. Tijana is also no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest having participated in 2011 as a backing vocalist for Serbia's entry Čaroban (Magical).

Tijana has just finished recording an album which is expected to be released in autumn. She describes In Too Deep as "modern, full of energy and something different and unexpected from Serbia." Representing her country in the Eurovision Song Contest is a big honour for Tijana; "In my country we are traditionally big Eurovision fans and representing Serbia was my childhood dream."

Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner are described as Tijana's musical heroes and she lists Brazil, Yugoslavia's entry in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest, as one of her favourite Eurovision songs ever. As for her own entry, In Too Deep, Tijana describes it as "a typical love song that everyone can related to." It was written by Borislav Milanov, Bo Persson, Johan Alkenaes and Lisa Desmond, producers, composers and founders of Symphonics International. The team are responsible for producing hits for Kelly Clarkson and Mary J. Blige to to name just a few.
