With the song ‘Say Na Na Na', Serhat will represent San Marino this year. Serhat is set to perform 17th in the first Semi-Final on Tuesday 14 May in Tel Aviv, Israel. This is the last week of our feature 'Ticket to Tel Aviv', as we count down to the start of the rehearsals for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.

This year, San Marino RTV invited Serhat to represent the country for s second time; he participated in 2016 as well, representing the small republic with the song I Didn't Know. Serhat was working on his new album when he got the invitation from San Marino RTV for this year's contest: "San Marino is always in my heart, our friendship lasts forever and ESC 2016 was probably one of the best memories of my career. Despite my tight schedule, it didn’t take me long to decide. I am very proud to represent San Marino for the second time”.

Who is Serhat?

Serhat is an experienced singer, songwriter and music producer, and has hosted and produced multiple television shows. He has done so, noteably, after graduating from the University of Istanbul as a qualified dentist.
