Ticket to Tel Aviv: Meet D mol from Montenegro

With the song ‘Heaven', D mol will represent Montenegro this year. D mol is set to perform 2nd in the first Semi-Final on Tuesday 14 May in Tel Aviv, Israel. This is 'Ticket to Tel Aviv', our feature counting down to the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.

On 9 February, a total of 5 acts competed in the national selection 'Montevizija 2019' for the honour of representing Montenegro at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. After topping the fan polls for several days, D mol managed to capture the hearts of the Montenegrin public as well and won the selection.

Who are D mol?

D mol are a young Montenegrin vocal group of 6 singers that was formed at the private music school of Daniel Alibabic. Alibabic, who acts as the group's mentor, is a former member of No Name, Montenegro's participant for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv.

D mol’s song

D mol will sing Heaven. The song, originally titled Ti, was composed by Dejan Božović and lyrics were written by Adis Eminić.

Montenegro at Eurovision 2018

Last year, Montenegro did not make it past the second Semi-Final, scoring 40 points. Vanja Radovanović placed 16th with his song Inje.
