This year the Ukrainian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest started already now. A total of five semi-finals will be held where 7 participants take part in.
This time, it was the following lucky ones to qualify:
Kristina Kim – Victim Of My Love
Elena Korneeva – Why Didn’t I Say Goodbye
Dariya Medova – Infinity
From every semi-final three will qualify by means of jury voting and one participant will qualify by televoting but the names of the latter will be announced at the end of the semi-final session, Victoria Romanova from the Ukrainian broadcaster, NTU, explained.
Next time, it'll be up to Para Normal'nyh, Ivan Berezovskiy, Mika Newton, Eduard Romanyuta, Shanti, Metropolitain and Bahroma to take the stage.
Ukraine finished tenth in the Final of the 55th Eurovision Song Contest, held in May this year in Oslo, Norway. They were represented by Alyosha and her song Sweet People.
