This weekend: Australia, Italy and Montenegro pick acts for Tel Aviv

Australia Decides
Gold Coast holds the first ever Australian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision: Australia Decides. Due to the time difference, European fans will be able to enjoy some Eurovision for breakfast by tuning in for the spectacle at 10:30 CET on Saturday morning. The show can be watched on broadcaster SBS' Facebook and Twitter profiles.
Myf Warhust and Joel Creasy, known to the Australian audience as their commentators for the Eurovision Song Contest, will host the live show.

During the Jury Preview Show, held a day earlier, a jury of industry experts already cast their votes. During the national final on Saturday the Australian public can vote for their favourite act. Jury and viewers will each have a 50 percent say in deciding who will represent the nation at its fifth participation in the Eurovision Song Contest
Italy chooses its winner in Sanremo climax
After five show days, the final of Italy's annual Sanremo Festival will take place tonight at 21:00 CET. Fans abroad can follow the show on broadcaster RAI's website.
Italian icon and Sanremo artistic director Claudio Baglioni returns to the competition as host. He will be joined by the actress and comedian Virginia Raffaele, who already hosted Sanremo in 2016, and actor, comedian and TV host Claudio Bisio.

During the show, votes will be cast for the night's top-three. Like the night before, all votes received in the previous nights by the three finalists are counted and this night's performances will be judged by the viewers (50%), the professional jury (20%) and the journalists (30%).

Montenegro decides for Tel Aviv
The final of Montenegro's national selection Montevizija will kick off at 21:00 CET and can be watched through the live stream.
