The countdown to Baku has well and truly begun and a number of countries have already chosen their entries for this year's competition. 

However, now things are heating up and over the next few weeks many more countries will choose their representatives for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place in May.

Last night Malta chose Kurt Calleja to represent them in Baku. During the past 7 days we have also seen progress in the national selections of Germany, Hungary, Norway, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Finland and Sweden. There has also been news from both Spain and Armenia about their upcoming selections.
