The wait is almost over to hear Željko's Serbian entry
07 March 2012 at 18:52 CETOn Saturday, a special show commissioned by RTS called The European Song will be held. The main purpose of the show is to showcase for the first time Željko Joksimović's Serbian entry for the 2012 edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show.
RTS gave Željko carte blanche with regards to the choice of the Serbian entry this year. He was given full authority for the decisions on every aspect of the song.
The speculation surrounding the type of song Željko would choose to take to Baku has been rife. Will it be a slow or uptempo song? Will it have a traditional Balkan feel like his other entries? These questions are all set to be answered on Saturday evening.
Special guests and full orchestra
The show will be a live broadcast, where Željko will perform some of his greatest hits, but with a completely different arrangement, as the RTS Symphonic Orchestra have been drafted in to support.
Other special guests will include some familiar names to those who have watched recent Eurovision Song Contests. These are Hari Mata Hari, JelenaTomašević and Bora Dugić.
