Song presentation: 12th March

Right after the show tonight, broadcaster AVROTROS revealed that the song would premier on the same show (De Wereld Draait Door) on Wednesday the 12th of March. Here a special acoustic version of the song will be aired.

The day after, on Thursday the 13th of March, the offical version of the song will be premiered on the radio show De Gouden Uren.

Last year in Malmö, the Netherlands achieved something they have not managed since 2004 - to qualify for the Grand Final. This was thanks to Anouk, whose soulful ballad Birds helped her - not only into the Grand Final - but also to a very respectable 9th place with 114 points. The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the B&W-Hallerne on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen on the 6th, 8th and 10th of May. The Netherlands will participate in the First Semi-Final.
