Cyprus in Eurovision
Cyprus debuted at the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest and finished in 6th place. A year later they took 5th place with the legendary Anna Vissi. They managed to equal that finish in 1997 and again in 2004 but never managed a better result until last year when Eleni Foureira's Fuego fired Cyprus to second place. This year Tamta will hope to continue Cyprus' recent Semi-Final record with a fifth consecutive qualification. More info..
