In summer, the Swiss public broadcasters announced their rules for the Swiss national selection for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Now that the submission periods of two out of the four public broadcasters involved in the process has ended, you can already listen to the songs that are in the running!

The Eurovision Platform of SF has been online since September 1st, and until September 30th, candidates could directly upload their videoclips to the portal. Right now, a jury is checking all the entries for compliance with the selection rules, and on October 16th, online voting will start. A total of six entries will make it to the national final. Meanwhile, you can check out the 221 songs that have been entered on the SF website.

At the same time, the Western Swiss public broadcaster RTS has also published the songs that have been entered for the national preselection. You can listen to the 28 entries already on the broadcaster's website. Out of these submissions, three will make it to the national final.

Two more songs will be contributed by the Italian language public broadcaster RTSI, and three songs will be added by the German-speaking radio channel DRS 3. More details are expected to be announced soon.

The Swiss national final for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on December 10th, 2011 in the Bodensee Arena in Kreuzlingen.
