As in the previous years, the German-language public broadcaster of Switzerland, SRF, is conducting the Eurovision selection procedure via an online platform. There, popular and well-known artists are requested to upload their proposed entries for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
Until now, 74 songs have been submitted, and only for days are left to apply: the submission period ends on October 28th, at 08:00 CET. So, if you have a song ready and want to try your luck - don't hesitate any further! Watch the official teaser video, and get ready!
Out of all submissions, a 50/50 vote of internet users and music experts will pick the nine hopefuls that will make it to the next round, where they will have to perform live in front of an expert commission who will evaluate their live competence, singing abilities and stage presence. Only the ones deemed best will make it to the Swiss national final, to be held in Kreuzlingen on February 1st.
