28 February 2009 at 22:29 CET

The fourth semi-final tonight featured several artists who already had lots of success in Sweden: Sarah Dawn Finer came 4th in Melodifestivalen 2007, Thorleifs are one of the most-loved dansbands in the country and the opener tonight, Agnes, won Swedish Idol in 2005. The list of participants tonight looked like this (qualifiers in bold):

  • Agnes - Love Love Love
  • Star Pilots - Higher
  • Susanne Alfvengren - Du Är Älskad Där Du Går
  • Anna Sahlene & Maria Haukaas Storeng - Killing Me Tenderly
  • Thorleifs - Sweet Kissin' In The Moonlight
  • Sarah Dawn Finer - Moving on
  • Next3 - Esta Noche
  • Malena Ernman - La Voix

Star Pilots and Sarah Dawn Finer will have another chance to qualify in the so-called Second Chance round which will take place next Saturday in Norrköping and which will decide about two more spots for the final. Another song will be elected by an international jury whose favourite tonight was Sarah Dawn Finer, after Caroline af Ugglas, Amy Diamond and Sofia in the preceding week. Out of these four singers, one get the much sought-after 11th ticket for the final in Stockholm's gigantic Globen Arena.

Agnes and Malena Ernman - the lucky two qualifiers tonight - are joining Alcazar, Emilia, H.E.A.T, Måns Zelmerlöw, Molly Sandén and E.M.D who already qualified in the three first semi-finals in Gothenburg, Skellefteå and Leksand.
