After having disclosed the first half of the singers for Melodifestivalen 2010 last week, it was time today to reveal the rest of the attractive field. In the third semi-final - which will take pace on the 20th of February in Gothenburg's Scandinavium - the following artists will participate:

  • Elin Lanto - Doctor Doctor
  • Alcazar - Headlines
  • Crucified Barbara - Heaven Or Hell
  • Erik Linder - Hur Kan Jag Tro På Kärlek
  • Timoteij - Kom (earlier title: Run)
  • Johannes Bah Kuhnke - Tonight
  • Getty - Yeba
  • Darin - You're Out Of My Life

The fourth semi-final will take place on the 27th of February in Malmö and will feature the following singers/songs:

  • Peter Jöback - Hollow

  • NEO - Human Frontier

  • Noll Disciplin - Idiot

  • Py Bäckman - Magisk Stjärna

  • Sibel - Stop

Some of the singers announced today are Melodifestivalen veterans. Pernilla Wahlgren has participated in the Swedish selections 1985, 1991 and 2003 – the latter in a duet with Jan Johansen, Sweden's singer in the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest - but has yet to win Melodifestivalen. Alcazar have participated in Melodifestivalen 2003, 2005 and 2009, with a third place as their best result so far. Py Bäckman participated as early as in 1979 and returned in 1992. She won Melodifestivalen as a songwriter in 1988 with the ballad Stad I Ljus and returned to write songs both in 1997 and 2002. Peter Jöback, Sibel and Elin Lanto have all taken part as artists in the immensely popular selection before as well.

Earlier, it was also announced that the group Highlights - together with the composers Mia Terngård and Stefan Lebert (MiSt) - will perform Come And Get Me Now. The song was the winner of SVT's web wildcard competition and will compete in the second semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2010 in Sandviken on the 13th of February.

31 of 32 Melodifestivalen singers are now known with the last wildcard to be announced by SVT at a later date.
