Summer has begun and the sun is shining. The summer months are traditionally a quiet time for the Eurovision Song Contest community. However for the new Host Broadcaster in Portugal the work doesn't stop and the same can be said for many of the acts who appeared at Eurovision 2017. Let's take a look at what some of them have been up to.

Some artists keep on working during summer: posing for the camera like Svala from Iceland or touring around Europe like Italy's Francesco Gabbani:

Another artist who you can spot singing somewhere in Europe this summer is Bulgaria's Kristian Kostov. From Moscow to Stockholm, #teamKris - as he is often tagged on social media - is travelling everywhere enjoying the European summer from the stage:

After a short tour around Europe, Australia's Isaiah flew back home to record new music, as he posted on Twitter:

While some participants are recording new songs or touring around Europe, others are enjoying a well-deserved summer holiday. Germany's Levina was happy to be back on her favourite island, Mallorca:

The European summer can also be enjoyed in a theme park, as Ilianca from Romania showed on Instagram. She went to Disneyland in Paris, asking where her prince is, she posted.

Summers are also the perfect time to party. Manel Navarro from Spain went to a wedding, posting this photo on Instagram:

Between trips to the gym, Israel's Imri has been having fun at the beach in Tel Aviv:

Estonia's Koit Toome, who recently became a dad, took his newborn baby on holiday for the first time:

What about the winner? Salvador Sobral has been busy and has continued touring since he won the Eurovision Song Contest:

What are your plans for the summer?
