27 February 2013 at 00:54 CET

After the artist confirmation and an online song elimination, it was time for the Spanish national final to take place tonight in Barcelona. In a special show called ESDM - El Sueño De Morfeo: Destino Eurovision hosted by Carolina Ferre the chosen act for Spain, the popular ESDM - El Sueño De Morfeo performed live the three competing songs (click on the titles to watch the performance):

The authors of all the songs are ESDM - El Sueño De Morfeo themselves: David Feito, Raquel del Rosario and Juan Suárez. Contigo Hasta El Final is a musical journey of emotions going from an epic introduction to a rockier theme that evoques a romantic intimate scenery.

The winning song, Contigo Hasta El Final (With You All The Way) was chosen by a 50/50 mixture of televoting and a jury vote, being the favourite of both. The jury consisted of journalist José María Iñigo who is the Eurovision commentator for Spain, singer Rosa Lopez who represented Spain in Tallin in 2002 with the unforgettable Europe's Living A Celebration and this year's Italian Eurovision act, Sanremo 2013 winner Marco Mengoni.

Pastora also sang last year's Spanish entry Quedate Conmigo (Stay With Me).
