Fourteen songs competed this evenings semi final. A further seven songs are already directly qualified to the final which will be held tomorrow evening, these are songs where certain composers were invited directly to submit a song to the final by broadcaster RTVSLO.
The line up for tonights show was as follows (Qualifiers for the final in bold) :-
  • Sara Kobold – Od Tod Do Večnosti
  • Brigita Šuler – Para Me
  • Nina Pušlar – Dež
  • Langa – Roko Di Maj
  • Saša Zamernik – Živim Za Zdaj
  • Ylenia Zobec – Priznam
  • Vaso & D Plejbeks – Gremo Na Emo
  • Martina Šraj – Dovolj Ljubezni
  • Marko Vozelj – Moj Si Zrak
  • Petra Pečovnik – Iz Navade
  • Martina Feri – Le En Dan
  • Zadnji Taxi – Franjo
  • Manca Špik – Tukaj Sem Doma
  • Anzambel Roka Žlindere & Kalamari – Narodno Zabavni Rock
That means the seven qualifiers from tonights show will join the seven automatic finalists in tomorrow evenings final of EMA 2010, making a total line up of 14 songs.
Amongst the guest performers this evening were the band Regina who represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest where they finished in ninth place in the Final. Rebeka Dremelj also performed, she represented Slovenia in Europe's Favourite TV Show in Belgrade in 2008 where she finished in 11th place in the First Semi Final and therefore narrowly missed out on a place in the Final. Two more Slovenian artists with past EMA experience also showcased some of their music, they were Natalija Verboten and Eva Cerne.
Last year, Quartissimo featuring Martina finished in 16th place in the Second Semi Final in Moscow, and therefore did not qualify for the Final.
